Words We Use

Pink Parcel values each and every single one of you. Our aim is to help you feel empowered, engaged, educated and supported at all times. We hope we have created a safe space in which you can engage in open conversation without judgement, because our community isn’t just for people who menstruate.

It’s for people who have been through the menopause, people born without wombs, people who have had hysterectomies, pregnant people, women, men, trans women, trans men, people who identify as non-binary or genderqueer, people who don’t do labels, people who do, and anyone else who wants to be a part of Pink Parcel’s movement.

With this in mind, we want to acknowledge the language that we use. We’re aware that language in the LGBTQ+ community continues to evolve and such, what one word means to one person could mean something totally different to another.

When writing our blog posts, emails, social posts and other marketing materials, we try to communicate sensitively and promote inclusivity. We hope we’re accessible to you and that you’re able to find the information you need.

So whilst we are taking steps to educate ourselves as a company, sometimes we might not get it right. We want you to know that we are willing to listen and learn and that we don’t ever intend to offend. We hope that you will join us on our journey.

If you want to talk to us about any of the words we use, email us on hello@pinkparcel.co.uk.

Love, The PP Squad x
