#TotesEmosh: This Inspirational 7-Year-Old Has Serious Business Goals

When I was 7-years-old, I was more interested in licking raw cake from my mum’s mixing bowl, cutting my own fringe and trying out the latest Art Attack, but Chloe Bridgewater already has business on the brain.

On hearing her dad talk about Google’s job perks (we’re talking slides, sleep pods and go karts), the schoolgirl decided that that was the job for her – and went for it by writing a letter to the boss of the company!

Her application began in the cutest way, and she also made an adorable pitch for the job, too (along with telling Google’s CEO about her future hopes and dreams). This girl’s got #goals!

“Dear Google boss,” she scribbled. “When I am bigger I would like a job at Google. I also want to work in a chocolate factory and do swimming in the Olympics, I go swimming on Saturday and a Tuesday. My dad said I can sit on bean bags and go down slides and ride go karts in a job in Google. I like computers too and have a tablet I play games on.”

Not only did her letter make it into the hands of Google CEO himself, Sundar Pichai, but he actually replied. *Cue awww sounds*

He typed a lovely letter back to Chloe, saying: “I’m glad that you like computers and robots, and hope that you will continue to learn about technology.

“I think if you keep working hard and following your dreams, you can accomplish everything you set your mind to – from working at Google to swimming at the Olympics.”

“I look forward to receiving your job application when you are finished with school! :)”

Is he the nicest CEO ever? I mean, SMILEY FACE!

“To say she is delighted after receiving this letter signed by Sundar Pichai himself is an understatement,” said Chloe’s proud dad.

“Can’t thank such a busy person enough to take time out to make a little girl’s dream become one step closer.”

What better Monday pick-me-up! Our hearts are actually melting…
