Holiday Lingo: How To Ask For Tampons When Travelling This Summer

So you were super-organised booking your holiday, sorted your suitcase like a total pro and remembered your passport. Good work.

But what happens when you forget to pack your tampons and your period decides to join you on your trip...just typical huh. Unless you manage a quick dash to a well stocked supermarket, there's a possibility you'll find yourself stood in a chemist asking for the essentials. And your GCSE language skills possibly won't help you much.

Helpfully (we're good like that), we've put together a mini lingo list of how to ask for a box of tampons when you're on your Euro break..then you can get back to the pool, right?

French

"Excuse me, can I buy a box of tampons please?"

Italian

"Excuse me, can I buy a box of tampons please?"

German

"Excuse me, can I buy a box of tampons please?"

Spanish

"Excuse me, can I buy a box of tampons please?"
