It's official. We've found the most adorable way to reduce anxiety.
Animal charity Blue Cross has teamed up with The Mindfulness Project to create a super-sweet meditation video that's full of fluffy felines.
The movie highlights the therapeutic power of pets by using a cute cast of homeless cats and kittens snoozing, purring and playing together - like we didn't already know that a moggy cuddle is the best way to cure all misery.
It also features a soothing voice over from London Mindful, who teach simple meditative exercises that promise to help combat stress and make us feel more at ease.
If, like us, you struggle with post-meeting meltdowns, boss dramas or even just Tinder terror because you've got a date tonight and don't like your outfit, we reckon 10 minutes of cat-themed mindfulness will do you the world of good.
Sounds miles better than that sweaty lunchtime yoga class you just booked, doesn't it?
It works thanks to meditative techniques - deep, controlled breathing and brain-focusing tricks - that can train your mind to wipe out the distractions causing you to worry.
Plus, it's also scientifically proven that cat videos in particular can boost happiness! Watching kittens kneading blankets and dozing off into dreamland is actually lab-approved, ladies...
Blue Cross hopes this film of lovable little animals will help raise awareness of rescue cats too. Almost 5,000 cats and kittens - their largest number ever - were taken into their care last year with so many of them still needing a home.
So we suggest you cancel that Bikram session that will totally ruin your date-night blow-dry anyway and direct your attention to this free online class. These cats could end up being your weekly relaxation saviour!
Our only warning? It WILL make you want to adopt every single one...
